Here are a few Memorial Day Weekend events to consider if you’ll be near our dispensary in Princeton:
Historical Walk: On Saturday, the Historical Society of Princeton will lead a nature hike to immerse you in the area’s history. Meeting at the Princeton Battlefield Parking Lot, you’ll learn about numerous notable events that took place in Princeton while exploring the battlefield, the Old Trolley trail, Founders Rock, and Rogers Wildlife Refuge.
Terhune Orchards: Spend the day at the farm by visiting Terhune Orchards throughout Memorial Day Weekend. On Sunday, there will be live music from 1 pm to 4 pm, with light refreshments and wine available for purchase. Plenty of farm activities, including pedal tractors, animal visits, and picking your own crops, will also be open for the entire family to enjoy,
Memorial Day Parades: Several parades are happening in and around Princeton this year. On Saturday, a Memorial Day Parade will start on Nassau Street in Princeton and head to Princeton Monument Hall. Parades will also be over the weekend in Lawrence, Montgomery, and Somerville.
As an alternative to a local event, many community members take the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors during the weekend. With the nicer weather, you’ll see more crowds on Nassau Street shopping and stopping at one of the many restaurants for a bite. You can also stay home and have a chill barbecue with friends.
